1st giveaway prize :)

I was so excited when I saw cookiyuri's message on my YT account and the subject was "Contest Winners". At first I taught may be it's just a group message thing that gurus do on YT. *silly me*

I decided I would read it because I am fan of cookieyuri's videos. Thank GOD I did because I am one of the winners! *woot woot* Wait, what did I won?haha.silly me can't even remember that I joined the contest.hehe

After the long wait, I received a letter on October 3 that I have a parcel in our local post office and I should get it myself.

I was soo excited to see the parcel! It is my first ever to receive one. On my way home I was singing " I am sooo lucky. I am soo lucky" in the tune of the Agnes' Unicorn from the movie Despicable Me.

Without further ado, here's some pics of the prizes.

My 2010 Wishlist

1. Any dollface palette: I've been lemming for this for so long ever since I have found out about them. I have been saving money for it but with no luck With my limited allowance, I can not indulge myself with such items. I think I'll just wait till my first pay check arrives (hopefully soon.hehe)
2. Nikkon d90: dslr, dslr, dslr. What can I say? I am cam whore camera deprived person! LOL.
3. IPOD TOUCH: aside from loving make-up, I am also in-love with music. I started loving music back when I was a child. My mom would let me watch disney movies. PROUD TO BE A DISNEY BABY.lol

NAIL ART: Simple Flower design

Hi guys! I am back with another post! I think I am addicted to blogging now a days. Even in my dreams I see my dashboard! lol.

So, I have to paint my nails today. Since its super short, I can not do my french tip which is my fave.

Anyhoo, here are the products I used:

• Base coat from Chic nailpolishes
• Silver glitter nail polish by Colourtrends
• purple breeze by san san ( which looks pink by the way)
• 2 way nail art pen from Glossy Blossom (a giveaway courtesy of cookieyuri :))
• Top coat from Chic nailpolishes
• toothpick
• rhinestones which I bought from Isetan Recto 20 pesos for 3 stacks

I just used the 2 way nail art pen in creating the petals of the flowers. Five dots and then use a toothpick to draw a line to the center to make it look like a flower.

Easy huh?

You can also put rhinestone at the middle to add dimension to the look.

I did mine on my ring fingers only.hehe

You can totally mix and match colors.

GARNIER: Light Complete Multi - action whitening cream

Hi everyone! I am back with a product review. By the looks of the title above I am reviewing Garnier's Multi- action whitening cream.

I am recovering from a bad break- out the whole month of September and I am desperately in need of products that will remove the traces of dark spots due to pimple break- out.

By the way, the product that broke me out is the new activated carbon facial foam of Pond's.

It was raved about so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, my skin does not like it. So much for my Pond's skin routine.

Anyhooo, back to the subject. Since I believe that my skin does not want Pond's product into my life, I decided I will try GARNIER. They are well known for their skin line so might as well give it a try.

So, I bought the 20 ml pack (refer to the picture above) after debating with my mom that I like to try the sachet version first but she talked me in buying this version. What the heck, she is the one paying so, why not right?

I've been using this for 3 weeks now and here are my thoughts:

PROS:

• It does control my oily face (8hr shine- free look according to the packaging)
• It lightened my dark spots and acne marks but it is still visible.
• affordable. (the sachets costs Php20 for 3 packs coz their having a promo I think. 20ml costs around Php 60-70 I'm not quite sure)
• acts as a good eye shadow primer, too! Since I can not afford yet UDPP, I got creative one day and I used as a primer and my shadows did not crease for the entire day. surprisingly amazing!
• multi- purpose white cream. With this, you can combine all the steps in your routine with just one step.

CONS:

• At first, my skin looks super dry. I guess that was my face adjusting to the product.
• My powder foundation was difficult to blend when I use it with this product but I don't mind. As long that my skin is matte I am happy with it.

My rating: 4/5

Overall, I am really liking this product and with the prize like that it's very good. I hope you friends can try.

I'm kinda pushing myself out of my closet by creating this blog. I have finally decided to be a beauty blogger. A proud PINAY beauty blogger.

So, I guess I better introduce myself. Here it goes:

I am Paola and I a graduating college student and i love everything about fashion and of course the world of make- up!

I am also a beauty follower in Youtube. Meaning, I follow beauty gurus' tutorials. If I gather enough courage then, maybe I will be one of them some day but right now I'm fine with creating a blog.
